To all our valued Sponsors, Supporters, Members, Footballers, Netballers, life members, past players and 300 club members,

On behalf of the committee, I hope everyone is safe and hopefully avoiding this dreaded virus. In what is unprecedented times for all of us, both on and off the field, I’m sure we all realise how much we are missing the Woori Yallock Football Netball Club.

It is not only the on-field play, but also the social interaction that we all miss, and no doubt we all know and appreciate the enormous support both mentally and physically that our great club provides to our local community.

Even though the season has been cancelled the bills and expenses have still been rolling in and Covid has meant that we have limited sponsors and an inability to create revenue through our usual streams. So it is with great excitement we are announcing our $100 a ticket major raffle will be going ahead. It has been a tradition or our great club since 1975 and we should not let the virus stop us. So we urge everybody who can afford it to please support us and purchase a ticket and also tell your friends and family.

We will be sending everyone that has purchased a ticket over the last 5 years a text message, with a copy of this letter inviting them to purchase a ticket and hope that given we all haven’t bought a membership ticket, a beer or a pie for the entire season, people may still be willing to buy one.

As it stands at the moment, we propose to draw the raffle via Zoom on Sunday November the 22nd. Unfortunately, it looks like we will be unable to have our traditional function but as soon as we are able to return to normal we will invite all ticket purchasers to a function in the new year to celebrate the start of next season and the end of our lockdown restrictions.
